Shifted Schedule to Continue in 2010

I know that people tend to worry when their magazines start arriving on a different schedule than what they’re used to. Don’t worry, folks, there are no red flags being waved.

Since we published the last issue for 2009 late (for reasons I previously explained here) it has necessitated a shift in pub dates that I expect to continue well into 2010. It wouldn’t be fair to the contributors to Issue 109 to only offer that issue for a month or two before releasing Issue 110, in order to force us back onto our original schedule. I’d rather stay slightly off, so long as we still release an issue per quarter (which we will). Therefore, you should expect Issue 110 to come out in mid-February.

As for Issue 110, it is heading off to the printer very soon and then will wing its way to your mailboxes and store shelves. The cover by artist L.W. Perkins is particularly striking — I’ll post a sample as soon as I have it ready to show.

In other news (and writers, I know you’ve been eagerly awaiting this one) we will be opening for fiction again soon. Stay tuned for particulars, including the start date! As a reminder, we are already open to poetry submissions and are always happy to look at interior and cover artist samples throughout the year.
