Just a quick post to say hooray for the recent decision at the WorldCon in Montreal regarding the future of the semiprozine Hugo award. Those eligible voted heavily in favor of continuing to award a Hugo to the Best Semiprozine for each given year. Big thanks to Neil Clarke of Clarkesworld Magazine, who promoted this issue and rallied support for retention of the wee bit of recognition we li’l publishers can look forward from the SF world. And, while we’re at it, congratulations to our buddies at Weird Tales, who took home this year’s Semiprozine Hugo. Nice job, Stephen and Ann!
