I have finally accepted that resistance is, indeed, futile and have joined the blogging community. I hope S&T fans and contributors will visit me and post comments, questions, suggestions, what-have-you at the following LiveJournal address: http://hildy9595.livejournal.com.
We’ve got some really good stuff for you in Issue #103. Our lead story is from Josepha Sherman, she of Star Trek fame and so many highly-acclaimed short stories, novels, and nonfiction articles that I could fill a couple of issues just listing themall. Jo got her start in Space and Time back in the day and we are much honored to play host to her fiction once again.
Additionally, we have a brand-new tale from our valued, long-term contributor, A. R. Morlan, that is certain to disturb, and a stunning apocalyptic/Lovecraftian/detective tale from new author Devon Oratz, who has a long and successful career ahead (you read it here first, folks!). There are several strange, fun, and freaky tales from authors established and up-and-coming, and by the way, a little something-something from our own editor emeritus, Gordon Linzner.
We’re trying something new. Beginning in this issue, we are running a provocative, multipart graphic story written by S&T contributor Randy Heller and illustrated by Jeremy Simser, a professional storyboard artist whose recent accomplishments include the movies Jumper and Resident Evil: Apocalypse. I think you will approve.
As usual, we have spiffy illustrations to punctuate our stories, some intriguing poems, and another column of valuable advice on writing. The icing on the cake: an amazing cover, courtesy of World Fantasy multiple award-winning artist, Alan M. Clark (http://alanmclark.com). Yowza!
